I want to expand the drive space on the server and need to remove the existing RAID 5 container comprised of 3 drives. Do I delete the #01 container if I might need to axcess this container again. If backup doesn't reproduce the information on the new drives correctly I might have to reinstall the old container and redo the backup.

 

Or can I creat a new container #02 with the new drives and leave container #01 untouched. Will the boot process pass on the  undetected container and just continue on or will it hang?

 

I want the option to be able to swap the old RAID with the new RAID if necessary.

 

Container  #00 has the OS and is mirrored, raid 1.

 

Also, for some reason I can't get the array manager to work in windows. I tried reinstalling but that didn't work.
