Hi there,

I have a Precision 5550 with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10850H CPU @ 2.70GHz

Windows tells me that I only have 6 logical cores (from task manager)
Sockets: 1
Cores: 6
Logical processors: 6
Virtualization: Enabled

But on the other hand it shows 12 CPUs in device manager. I made sure to check that HT is enabled in the BIOS. I also checked with WMI (6 cores) and msconfig (only 6 cores)

I find the performance to be sub-par and according to Dell Precision 5550 Setup and Specifications | Dell Deutschland this model should support HT. Current BIOS version.
