946 printer ink levels

I let my ink level go down to the point where it stopped printing. I have now rewed my cartridge but the level indicater has not reset . Help

    If you used a refilled or "remanufactured" cartridge it will never reset.  Ink catridges have a chip inside that senses the ink level and once it shows "low" or "out of ink" it can never be reset.

    Hi Firebird My printer is now printing fine so the 'low levl trip' must have reset. It is still telling me that the level is low etc but is showing the caartridge level as 'full'. Is this a miracle? Regards Tony Blair

    I had my black ink cartridge refilled at the photo lab and my indicator still won't stop showing that my ink levels are low. I read what you posted, what are you supposed to do?
