I have installed this printer on my wireless network and it is functioning fine for the two XP laptops that connect via the wireless network.  I am having a problem connecting a computer using Vista via the wired network connection.  It seems that when you connect a USB cable the wireless connection is dropped and it will not connect via the network for the hard wired computer.  I have attempted to add the port on the desktop machine and use it, but it fails.  I can force the driver, but it never auto detects the connection and the Dell installation software refuses to configure it unless it is using a wireless connection. 

Some help would be appreciated in what should be a simple configuration issue.
