Browser Question
Hope I am posting this in the correct forum. I have an XPS-420 that is still happily chugging along. It has Vista and IE-9. No later versions of IE are compatible with Vista. According to several sites that I visit the browser is outdated. I get lots of "IE has stopped working", or "webpage display problem" error messages. I get rid of the message and I can still view the page in question. It's getting to be a real annoyance.
I guess I need to use another and more up to date browser while this computer continues to keep working. Not sure what would be best and easiest to team up with Vista. I would hope the installation and use be simple to understand and implement without losing anything that I already have, like my home page or Favorites. Any suggestions about which browser to use and operating tips would be appreciated. I have average browsing habits and listen to a lot of online radio and YouTube music, and watch an occasional TV episode I might have missed.

You can try switching to Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome. Windows Vista has no IE10, 11 or Office 2013 support.
