RecoverPoint Data Validation on DR
Hi,
I am trying to validate the data on DR site. I enabled Logged access with the latest image and mounted the replication volume on windows server.
I created a new text file on the volume and then unmounted the volume.
After that I disabled the image access and again enabled image access and mounted the volume but still I see the text file which I created earlier.
Also I tried enabling the previous images but still I see that text file which I created.
I am sure when I unmount the volume and disable image access all the writes to the Replication Volume must be discarded.
Please let me know what am I doing wrong here.

So I found out one solution for this.
On the DR side, the server where I have to mount the target replication volume, I have to do Bind Host Initiators as I am using Brocade Splitters. And after binding host initiators, when I mount the volume on the server, intially it will start the whole replication again so I will loose all my snapshots on Journal.
So if I decide to test my replication volume on some different server, I will loose again all journal space.
Is there any other solution than these where I can validate my replication volume without loosing journal space??
