Hi all am new to the forum  and Dell..

 

Well i have just got myseld a nice new dell 9100 and would like to start a from clean computer with my own software and version of win xp pro.

 

I have tried to format and reinstall win xp pro but i just get an error message saying:

 

setup does not find any hard drive installed on my computer.  I have the SATA ATA by seagate 160GB disk..

I really would like to do the reinstall and think i should be able to...

 

could any of you kind people tel me how to get around this pronblem and where i can find any drivers i need so that win xp can see my hard drive...
