We have two DMX-4 systems in one datacenter. We have almost every flavor of Unix O/S. We are planning for local DR solution. What we want to achieve is configure both SYMM's in bidirectional SRDF/S configuration, whenever one array goes down we can switchover to another array with near zero configuration changes. Please note we are going to use same hosts for DR. i.e. we do not have additional host for DR. Also I want to make it lil more complicated by adding boot disk on SAN as well ( optional). Can you guyz suggest me how to make it possible. How do we import and mount the filesystems with almost none configuration changes on LVM?
