I've been really impressed by the community energy on the show floor and the hang space. The conversation digging into NSX as a SDN hypervisor is pretty incredible.

What is everyone else getting into today? Are you enjoying the #EMCElect curation on Twitter (twitter.com/search?q=%23EMCElect)

I didn't know about the Elect curation on Twitter... thanks for sharing!

This will be my very first VMworld. Any tips, tricks, or things I shouldn't miss?

The Labs.   Absolutely the Hands On Labs.  Both the EMC and VMware ones are great.

Besides that - any of the Ask the Expert sessions (VCDX, vExpert Bloggers, etc)

The hang space should be in Moscone South (http://download3.vmware.com/community/pdfs/vmworld-2013-campus-map.pdf) which is the same building as the solutions exchange.  I believe anyone can get to it.

Recommend the Fisherman’s wharf, also Alcatraz. The twisty-turny street you see in movies (Lombard Street) is quite near to the wharf and always a great pic opportunity.

Will definitely have to check out those sights - especially Lombard Street - sounds awesome!

Sean I do as well - are you on Jetblue?

no i was not that lucky, i'm on a united, but we can split a cab at the airport to the hotel.

I believe alcatraz is fully sold out because of the america's cup.
