Does "Backup" utility really work?
I've tried to use the Backup utility in XP Media Center, and have run into obstacles. I simply want to back up my HD in case of a breakdown. I want to backup to a removable medium (CD or DVD). Has anyone been successful in doing this, or would you advise that I hunt for/buy a stand-alone backup product? I'm getting rather frustrated with the problems I'm encountering. Thanx for any help.

Thanx Denny, for that info. It's good to know that. Too bad that wasn't mentioned in the "Help" section. It would've saved me a lot of time and grief.

Microsoft Backup cannot write to CD. Write the backup to a file on your hard disk then copy that file to CD.
