When I try to download updates to Total Access from the toolbox, the updates list, but clicking on the ones I want produces no reponse (the add button blinks, but I can't install.

This happens only on my new dell 8600 inspiron.  I have an older dell diminsion (using sp2) and it works fine.

I had downloaded sp2 on the insprion, but had extreme slowdown and problems in MS word.  Tech support told me to get rid of sp2 (at least that is what I think they said, Indian languages are not one of my skills), on the grounds that it causes problems and that a better version would be available at the end of the month.

Anyone else having that problem with earthlink?
