I have a dimension 4700-I also have DSL & am able to connect online quickly, however, when I browse or download, I run into slow speeds. I was told that my processes should be betw 2-38 and mine are around 50 + .  This # is from my task manager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE).  I need to lower them and am not sure how to without messing up any existing files.  I also have run anti-virus/spyware-which comes back clean.
