I have received this error from day one. I can not force the app to load or a CD to initiate the app. I have rebooted with no change. Have tried MS Support online, could not find anything useful. A Google search shows that I am not alone.

 

I have a XP 8300 with Windows Pro, 12GB RAM, and a non functional media player.

 

Any direction would be appreciated.
