Screen saver problem

Does anybody know why my screen saver won't start? It's set up correctly but will not run.

Does it work when you click preview?? What Screensaver are you using? Did you set the time for 1 minute, and left the mouse and keyboard alone for a minute or two??

Yes, it works fine when I select any option and then click preview. I have set the time delay for as little as 2 min and waited for 5 min w/o the screen saver starting. I have selected the "blank" option as well and it didn't respond either. I also tried a couple of fixes I got from Kelly's Korner w/o any luck.

FYI - Re: screen saver problem

The problem was related to the mouse, believe it or not. I had a wireless mouse connected via a usb port. When I connected a regular, wired mouse, the screen saver worked perfectly. I ended up connecting the wireless mouse to the PS2 mouse port with a converter. It's working fine now.
