UPDATED!!! A patch should be available via the Sonic Updater Software which resolves the problem.

Should be? What does that mean, it is available now or it will be?
Or just that it "should" be - which means we're not really sure but decided to post about it anyways.
If it's available now - some instruction as exactly how to get it would be helpful.
Getting VERY frustrated with all this.
