Urgent! Multiple Problems traced to IE6 (???)

Okay, I'm going to try and run this down for you.

I'm using Netscape 7.1 because IE6 is not working.

Each and every time I try to run IE, the "page cannot be displayed" message comes up on the page. This works for every single website I try to use.

I thought that it may have to do with the various trojans on the computer, so I ran several spyware/adware removers, and it deleted a bunch of spyware, and then I ran an Anti-Virus Check (using EZ Trust Anti-Virus), and it said there were 25 Java.ByteVerify.Exploit trojans, which I did get rid of by deleting the "jar" folder in Java.

So, I reran the AV program, and it showed no infections whatsoever.

But, IE didn't work anymore.

So, I tried to do the Control Panel>Add/Remove>Microsoft IE6>repair option, but it says that it cannot be repaired.

So, I followed through to get it restored to previous settings, and that failed horribly.

It still did not work, so after trying to uninstall/reinstall IE again, it keeps giving me Script errors every time I try and enter the Control Panel or System Restore (which I had to disable to run one anti-virus check).

So, I can't even access System Restore to save myself, and I can't get into the Control Panel.

I'm running out of options here, and I really don't want to have to format the hard drive again...

Please, please, please help... I am so desperate!!!
