I just received my new Vostro 1510, which comes with the following operating system specs: "Genuine Windows VISTA Bonus-Windows XP Professional downgrade"

When I turn it on, it boots up in Windows XP.  I can't tell if VISTA is also preinstalled (or even preloaded) - although I do have recovery DVDs for both operating systems.

Questions:

1. Is this set up (or can I set it up) so that I can choose which OS to boot into?  Or must I use one or the other exclusively (unless I wipe and reinstall the other)?

2. If I want to boot into VISTA, can I do that without uninstalling XP?

 

I'm not sure which I would prefer to use.  I'm obviously more comfortable with XP, but it would be nice to have a VISTA alternative available when desired.
