I use a Dell Inspiron E1705 on XP Pro SP2.  My browser is IE7.  My ISP provides personal web pages (PWP).  I am unable to use this feature because every time I log onto the PWP page, I get this warning:

This is not a dialogue box; it is a full screen web page.  My computer’s date, time and time zone are all correct.  The ISP’s tech support has suggested a number of fixes, none of which has worked.  ISP’s tech support has concluded that the problem is caused by some setting in my browser, but they lack the resources to tell me how to fix it.  They sent me to MS.  MS sent me to Dell since the OS was installed on the laptop when I bought it.

I started this string last week during the maintenance of this support group website.  Friday all of that was wiped clean by the completion of the site maintenance, so I have to start over.  One user suggested that I check the website’s security certificate, but I do not know how to do that.  He suggested that I should have a view button that would allow me to see the actual expiration date on the certificate, but I cannot find such a button on my screen.  The only “view” buttons I find are called “view source” and they only show the html source instructions. 

One other piece.  I can get to the actual PWP page by clicking “continue to this website(not recommended).  However, when I get there, I find a red banner warning “error accessing data” and it will not allow me to input or change data.  So obviously I have not properly penetrated security.
