I have an XPS 13 9370 with Windows 10, very latest version with all latest updates, and the touchpad is acting stupidly, as many, many people have discovered.

When I scroll down, in Chrome and Firefox, the mouse pointer flies back up to the beginning of the webpage. Then, when I try to stop it, it rapidly scrolls down to the very end of the webpage.

When I try to get back to where I was in the webpage the mouse pointer just jumps back to any random point in the webpage.

I have followed quite a number of "solutions" such as disabling the panel auto refresh, I have turned off all the checks, under touchpad options, except for using two-finger scroll. That, and "Press lower right corner of the touchpad to right-click", are the only two options checked.

I have updated the Bios twice with the latest Bios update.

However I still have this problem in Chrome and Firefox. It is ridiculous that this is still a problem when this laptop was released over a year ago and people are still having the same crazy issue.

I wonder whether any one has actually found a proper fix to this behaviour or the mouse, other than installing Synaptics drivers, which are then over-ridden when Windows 10 updates.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
