My XPS 13 9310 started to lose Bluetooth functionality once in a few days. I often use my Bluetooth headset and suddenly it stops working. All sound playing apps are hanging until I turn it off. When I turn it on, it never connects back until the laptop reboots. The issue started appearing since I've upgraded to Windows 11. The laptop is marked as Windows 11 ready. The driver ID is USB\VID_0CF3&PID_6390, the currently installed driver version is 1.0.0.1606.
We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
After communication with Dell Care, everything they could suggest is to pay for an extra support service to learn why their Bluetooth drivers don't work properly on their device. You buy a $2000+ laptop and then they will charge you for basic support! Weird.
BIOS update failed? Pay for it! BT drivers failing? Pay for it!
To resolve most of the BT issues, performing these basic tasks:
Replace batteries
Check device manager for device errors
Check the system Bio and make sure the BT device is present
Check for Windows critical and important updates
Check for multiple firewalls running at the same time
Scan system for common memory and hardware issues
Scan system for viruses
Download and install all Dell critical and important applications and drivers from Dell Support website
Download and install Dell’s Bio update from Dell Support website
After completing these steps, if you’re still having problems, try the following:
Re-installing Windows and repeat steps 1-9
Replace BT adapter
Replace BT device(s)
If you’re still having problems with your BT device(s), you can either replace your BT device(s) with USB device(s), or you can deal with the problem(s) until a solution is available.
Hi, I think you've given us the wrong driver release, it should be something like 2x.xx.x.x... or maybe you are on a generic Windows driver?
I have a 9310 and I too have upgraded to Windows11. My bluetooth seems to work just fine, I haven't noticed any strange behaviour since I have upgraded. I'm on the 22.70.0.3, and this should be the right driver for you if you want to reinstall it.
PS if your private messages don't work perhaps try disabling your anti adware software / extension, or create an exception rule for dell.com
Dell-Cares sent me two private messages that were probably intended for you, I'll paste them here:
1)The unit is shipped with Intel Killer Wi-fi 6 AX500-DBS (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.1. Hence shows all drivers are up to date. Please install the below driver. http://del.ly/6602JmbM0
2)If still doesn't work, then, delete the existing driver and install the previous version from the below link.
Found this on a Japanese website (googletranslated):
As of October 2020, the Killer AX500 can be confirmed to be installed only in some models of the Dell XPS series (XPS 17 9700, XPS 15 9500, XPS 13 9310), and among them, only a limited number of SKUs.
(SKUs without Killer AX500 are equipped with Killer AX1650 based on Intel AX200 / AX201 )
My device is for Japan, maybe that's the reason why they installed Qualcomm instead of Intel.
Moreover, the Dell support website drivers search also shows the Intel driver even I've entered my service tag. Even on the Japanese version of the website. It seems like a mess in Dell that they don't know what they have installed in a laptop even when they assigned a unique tag to it.

After many updates, the issues seem to be fixed.
