XPS 15 9560, microphone not working
The problem: My laptop won't recognise any types of microphones. I've tried airpods, hyperx cloud 2 (via jack and usb) and the built-in one. The laptop uses Waves MaxxAudioPro v1.0.112.0, and I've selected headset in the pop-up menu. Drivers are fresh.

* Were there any hardware or software changes prior to this issue appearing?
* Run a full scan on the SupportAssist application which will check and update any outdated drivers, identify hardware issues (if any), and optimize the system performance. Keep the charger connected during this process
