Hey, all! I've had my Alienware Aurora R8 for 3 years now and it's always worked like a dream - never any issues whatsoever. Last night, however, I turned my computer off for the night as usual, but when I got up to turn it on in the morning, it would not power up. I know a fair amount about computers, but not enough to really troubleshoot when something goes wrong, so I was wondering if any of you here had any insight? Contacting dell was no help at all and my computer is out of warranty - I can't afford a new one or even to send it in for repairs. Using the BIST button is the only way to get it to turn on right now, and that's temperamental. It worked the first time, but it was a little fickle the second time. When it is on, it works just fine, but I can't power it up by the power button alone and I'm not really sure what's going on.
