I recently got a used Alienware 17 for cheap, and intend to upgrade the GPU in it. It currently still has the original GTX 770M it came with in it, so it is equipped with a 60Hz display, 180W power brick, and a 75W 2 heatpipe heatsink.

He says this card will work for my laptop. Is this true? Will it work with my current PSU and heatsink? Are there better options out there?
