17 R5, AWCC, AlienFX Lighting Manager
AWCC version 5,2.81.0 ,A00 (or the earlier versions) does not load the FX tab. AlienFX Lighting Manager and all of its subordinate applications are not loaded. All FX JSON files are 1 KB in size = empty.
The Alienware 17 R5 AWCC, click Here, fails to install the as advertised FX features.
SupportAssist's thorough deep hardware scan of the entire 17 R5 says all hardware is fully functional.
So what is stopping AWCC installation of the AlienFX Lighting Manager?
Is there an application that can monitor installation of AWCC to reveal what caused it to fail?
Does anybody have a fully functional installation of AWCC version 5,2.81.0 ,A00?
Is it possible to manually install the AlienFX Lighting Manager from source unknown?
