Alienware 15R3 sometimes not charging
Hi,
Recently my laptop will suddenly stop charging, and then start again after a while (how long this takes is different each time - ranges between a few seconds and over a minute), when the laptop is in use or idle. When this happens, it is not a "plugged in, not charging" situation, rather the laptop doesn't acknowledge that the adapter is plugged in at all. The motherboard and charging port have been inspected and no issues have been found there. The battery has been removed and running the laptop using the adapter only also does not rectify the situation.
Can anyone please help?

It might be the DC in because if the computer does not “Sometimes” recognize it, it would be the DC because the motherboard wouldn’t recognize the adapter at all if it was faulty.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
