Hey so basically I'm getting a really good deal on a used Alienware 15. It's a i7 7700hq and a 1070. Through only problem is that it has g sync and the panel is 4k. I've seen on Reddit that someone managed to replace the 60hz ips g sync panel with a 120hz ips non g sync. My question is can I replace the screen with a 60hz or 120hz 1080p ips screen? Or would it not work at all due to the connectors or the motherboard? Thanks
