Timeout parameter/ lock file on dhsm secondary path

Hi:

  I have dhsm configured.

  In a filesytem i have the next configuration

[nasadmin@NS_84_TC_0 ~]$ fs_dhsm -connection fs_prueba_filemover -info
fs_prueba_commvault:
state                = enabled
offline attr         = on
popup timeout        = 0
backup               = offline
read policy override = full
log file             = on
max log size         = 10MB
cid                 = 1
   type                 = NFSV3
   secondary            = hppro01_g1.risa:/rsicif/syspri3/bslcba
   state                = enabled
   read policy override = full
   write policy         =        full
   options              = useRootCred=true proto=tcp

On secondary hppro01_g1 we have an aplication that migrate files to a tape.

If file in hppro01_g1 is on disk. No problem accessing data from linux that have mounted fs_prueba_filemover filesystem.

If file is on tape, in hppro01_g1 start up a proccess to copy de data from tape to disk but on large files in linux machine prompt is returned before

data is recalled.

Important note: I mounted hppro01_g1.risa:/rsicif/syspri3/bslcba on control station (a red hat linux) via nfs and access the same file and no problems. Prompt

not returned. Wait until the data is copied from tape to disk. I see the file with a more, tail -1, etc. In both cases protocol is nfs.

Are there any time out, retry o lock file parameter on XML/API or Celerra parameter?

Thanks a lot.

    Not exactly sure what we can do in this case.  I suggest you open a Service Request for this one.
