Ispiron 3668 upgrade

I bought this a while ago with no intention of playing games but now have decided to play some. My system is

Device name DESKTOP-B8G21B6
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
Device ID CCE1BB5A-D929-44A7-BF90-524F22D72A04
Product ID 00325-80855-08366-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

PSU is 240wts

and the graphics is Intel HD 630.

I started playing Fallout 76 and have a lot of choppy game play so need to do something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 285 2GB or equivalent (minimum gpu)
    • Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB / AMD R9 290X 4GB (recommended gpu)

these are system requirement for F.O.

your pc is a mini tower good for discrete video card install.  you first need to upgrade psu from 240w to 360/460/500 w that has one to two 6 pin PCIe connector to support video card.

a good choice of relatively recent video card is GTX 1660.  you may also get the older GTX 970 for under $200.
