Hi everybody!
I have a DELL G5 5000 with i7-10700 and a RTX 3070.
I recently received a new stock PSU 500 W since the actual one produces sometimes some kind of electrical discharges sound..
I read the Service manual for the PSU removal and reinstallation but on my PC the things look quite different. I have a sort of support for the gpu near the front side and a sort of black metal cover over the actual PSU.
Does anyone know how to perform this substitution correctly?

It should be quite easy to put it back. The arrows are a guide to squeeze and snap it back in place.

P.S.
In the red figure there is the plastic support for the gpu I was talking about.
I cannot remove the PSU cover with this in the middle..How can I remove it? I'm forced to remove the gpu for this or I can avoid it?

Yes I got my Dell replacement but I have not yet installed it. Indeed, my question concern the replacement of the PSU itself. Differently from what described in the support manual, I have a sort of plastic support for the RTX 3070 and I do not know how to remove it in order to gain access to the PSU and remove it.
Here I post also the piece in question which I forgot to upload..

Thanks @redxps630 , Yes it seems a support bracket for the GPU.
If I lie down the PC it should not be a problem if I remove this bracket in terms of bending the GPu or something like that right? Moreover, in this bracket there are two little arrows, the top one (facing downward) and a bottom one (facing upward); Should I gently press the bracket in the directions indicated by the arrow and then pull the bracket towards me?

Anyway PSU replaced succesfully, everything went smoothly and now it does not make that strange electric discharge noise, even if it slightly less silent then the previous one (y)

yes try squeeze those arrows towards each other gently. No brute force. It should disengage. you do not need to bend the gpu itself.
