A week ago, Dell suggested an automatic update for my Dell Inspiron G7 15, which included an update for BIOS. After connecting my laptop to the power supply and the BIOS update was over, it restarted. That was the last time it ever went past POST.

Now it won't boot up at all. It gets stuck at POST. It makes no sound at all, the led is flashing white as always (that means there is no problem with my components) and won't show anything on screen. My guess is that Dell recommend an unsopported update for my motherboard.

I read it is possible to flash the BIOS using an USB drive, but I can't get past POST to do that. I tried disconmecting my battery and waiting for 10 hours, still nothing. How can I reinstall the BIOS in this scenario? Is there anything I can do?
