I run Windows 11 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 15 3530 laptop. I ran the Intel Driver and Support Assistant and found I had an update to Intel® 11th – 14th Gen Processor Graphics software, version 32.0.101.709. When I tried to install it, I got a 1000 error. What does that mean, and how do I fix it?

What error 1000 usually means in your case
Common triggers on Windows 11 with Intel 11th–14th Gen graphics:
Windows already has the same or newer driver (so Intel’s installer refuses to “downgrade” or re‑install).intel+1
Windows Update is fighting Intel’s installer (auto‑updating drivers in the background).intel+2
Leftover driver files/registry entries from previous installs confuse the new installer.intel+2
OEM (Dell) driver package vs generic Intel package mismatch, especially on laptops with hybrid graphics.
