I have been struggling for 4 months to get my Dell to share files with my PC.

Everything has been set up for sharing and settings on both devices are the same.

Both are running Win 10 2004

The Dell can see the PC and share files OK but the PC can only see the DELL but cannot access the files.

I have tried everything that numerous forums have suggested with no success.

When running Network Incoming Connections Trouble-shooter on the Dell it errors saying it cannot automatically detect the networks proxy settings.

However there are no proxy settings and it has always been set to auto detect.

Might there be a corrupt file or other issue on the Dell?

The problem was in Win 10 Ver 1809 and has persisted after updates to 2004
