Battery replacement

O boy time to replace the battery in my laptop.

Hi, i have a Dell Latitude E6520 laptop and i am getting a message about my battery will charge fine but it may not last as long.  Well that might be expected sense when i got it i had to leave it plugged in for hours before the percentage started rising.  I am wanting to replace the battery in the laptop in the machine (preferably with the 9 cell) so it will last longer as i have noticed the battery life has gotten less.  Can someone provide me a link with one that won't break the bank?

Most likely i will order one online but the problem is that dell laptops have charger and battery verification type stuff.  So i cant purchase a third party battery and have it work.  I am trying to find a OEM battery so that it will charge.

If you don't need the mobility, try removing the battery and use just the adapter plugged into an outlet--as a desktop replacement. If the computer works that way, do that when the battery dies and save the $100+ for a replacement and put it towards a new computer. The old laptop will need replacing soon anyway.

The batteries at Parts People are Dell batteries.
