Dell adapter serial number
I have a few dell adapters and laptops. They are all from the same model.
I need a way to identify which charger belongs to which laptop. Also, Can I tell if the adapters are from the same patch?
They all have a similar 23 digit serial number except for the fifth group of digits. They share the following number except for the red underlined digits.
CN-0Y4M8K-72438-37R-09EB-A01

@momaa There is no such method to tell for identification. Taking out your battery and checking at the input requirements (Volts and Amps) and matching it to the charger should be your best choice.

i took my friend's dell charger by mistake but im not sure if i have it between my charger how can i idenfity mine from hers?

There is no serial number on the adapter(s), nor any way to correlate one adapter to a specific system. If the output power and plugs match, they're interchangeable.
