BIOS Sequence Edit For External Hard Drive To Boot First Using Ubuntu 7.10?
How shall I edit my BIOS in a Dell Dimension 2200, to find and choose the external hard drive, connected in a USB port, as second choice after CD ROM and before the IHD?

In your BIOS you should see boot options and you simply make the first item in the list CD-ROM.
You don't need to do much else.
If for some reason that wont work then you need a different CD with a new ISO,
Or to check that the CD-ROM is working properly.
