Alienware 13 R2 1.3.10 Bios Update Battery CPU Problem

Hello everyone.

I am an owner of a Alienware 13 R2

2 days ago I used the dell system detect to find new drivers on the dell alienware13 driver page. And it found a newer version of my bios the 1.3.10 with as fix: "Improve user experience in Battery mode".
After I did this update I only experienced problems when using the system on battery mode (problem encores only when using windows battery saving mode and Energy saving mode on the battery settings).

All my daily tasks that I was able to do before the bios update are all going really slow. When opening programs it takes a really long time. Before the update these same programs opened within seconds after clicking them.

After a day I decided to downgrade to the 1.3.09. After this downgrade everything went back to the way it was I was able to open all of my programs within seconds.

Why does an update meant to improve the system speed & battery performance do the exact opposite ?

Greetings
Fabian

    Hi,

Send me your Service Tag and the Bios download link that you used in a PM, so we can look into this and get back to you.
