Alienware X51 no display
I've had my x51 just over a year. Have never had problems with it. Yesterday I turned it on, comes on like always but no display. I've tried it on different monitors, used different cables, changed power outlets. But still looking at a black screen. I need help on this thanks.
I assume you used HDMI, so I'll ask this. Have you used both HDMI ports on the X51? Each one hooks up to a different GPU. One of them is for the iGPU, the GPU integrated onto the CPU. As long as you can use that port (the top one), you should be able to get a display.
Which GPU do you have (the one that's not the integrated one)?
The only things I can think of doing are updating the BIOS, disabling Gen3 in the BIOS (it's under advanced) performing a system restore to a time before yesterday (I have no better way to say this), or updating/reinstalling the graphics driver.

I just plugged the HDMI to the top one and the display is working. So how do I go about fixing this problem? Thanks
