Cannot flash BIOS 17R3_1.3.10

Cannot update BIOS for Alienware 17R3: Alienware_15R2_17R3_1.3.10.EXE

When I try to flash intall this new BIOS the computer rejects it saying the ROM cannot be installed and then forcing a reset.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Try to run the executable as an administrator (right click and select run as administrator). If it does the same thing, please send me a PM with your Service Tag.

Anti Virus programs can interfere with the process. Malware can also be an issue.

Flashing must be done as administrator and should be done offline with no other programs running.
