If anyone can shed any light on the following, I'd be very grateful, thanks.

When i do a simple print screen and then paste it into any software, all I get is a black image with very faint white lines where the details should. (bit like an negative).

I've tried updateing my graphics card and have made sure that my copy of Windows XP Pro is up to date, but nothing seams to help.

The other issue I get, which started at the same time, is after a certian length of time if I minimise or close software an image of the window is left on the desktop. If i drag another window over it, it wipes it clean. Like its not refreshing correctly. If I press F5 it will refresh the desktop icons but not the desktop, it takes a restart to cure the issue.

Also when I open a picture useing the windows picture viewer, it appears black untill I drag the window about.
