dial up connections
I am trying to reinstall my internet provider however when i go to the internet connections to try to reestablish a connection by going within the control panel i get the following error message.
"Can not load the remote access connection manager service. Error 711: The remote access service manager could not start, additional information is provided in the event log."
Should i put in the operating system disc to repair the operating system or should i do something else. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Lots of things that could be happening here. I would simply call my ISP and ask them to walk me through the process. Most IPS are glad to help their customers get up and running. Often times certain settings and information must be provided by them anyway.
