i tried to clean off my hard drive by dwnloading a program called killdisk (i believe). thought i knew kinda of wat i was doing.  so after downloading i suppose it was clearing up the hard drive, as i was jus waiting on the progress bar to finish, an then all of a sudden as it was almost finish, a blue screen came up for like a second, and then it went to a black screen and a message displays (in top left corner of screen)"Error loading operating system_ I cant type nothing at all on this screen, and wen i restart it by cuting the switch off, the dell logo comes on (and the windows XP logo doesnt com up either like it usually did b4), and i c in the right hand corner while the page loads the options of F12 = Boot menu and F2 = setup.   So.....wen i hit F12 the boot device menu comes up having 7 different options to choose, and if i hit F2 a gray screen comes up with white lettering with several options.

Question..........I jus had my comp cleaned of viruses last week, so i didnt hav any.  With this info can u tell me wat happened to my comp? its a 2400 dimension windowsXP. i even tried 2 use the installation disk that came w/ the comp but it didnt do nothing.   i am stuck right now and dont no wat 2 do. Can sum1 give me specific step by step simple easy directions of what 2 do, i was jus tryn 2 clean it so i can sell it... ill b able 2 respond rite bck being that i hav access to a computer.
