Hello...

Before I get to my problem...Is there a way to search the forum?  I haven't been here in a while and I see no way to search.  Anyway...

When I start my Dimension 84000, the blower assembly fan starts spinning faster and faster until it sounds like it's gonna blow.  I have to manually shut down the computer.  Funny thing is, if I open the case 6-8 inches wide, it starts up fine, no problem.  Is there a short or something?  Any ideas?
