I ran a music CD on my desk top and it made a lot of noise while it was loading and playing.  I have no idea if this created the problem, but it's the last thing I remember that was not normal.  Then I got the blue screen.  I was somehow able to get out of that and got back to my desktop.  Then several yellow warning boxes appeared, which I closed.  The was the last time I saw my desktop.

I now have the blue screen with the error message - STOP:  C0000221 (Bad Image Checksum)  The image url.dll is possibly corrupt.  The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.

I ran the extended test and got two errors

Error Code 0F00:1344 - Uncorrectable data error or media is write protected - The drive failed to perform the confidence test properly.  This may indicate that the drive needs to be replaced (if this is a removeable media device, try different media).

Error Code 0F00:136C - IDE device failed.  Blank media or no media is present in optical drive.  Test requires media with digital data (resource CD, installation CD)

I tried reloading the OS disk and the light comes on that shows its working, but I can't get any further.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?
