Reformat | Reinstall

OK... so, when the factory-installed CD-ROM
drive broke in my Dimension XPS H233, I replaced
it with a new one. This week-end, that replacement
caused me problems when I reformatted my c: drive.
During set-up, the boot disk called for my old
CD-ROM drive (Toshiba) in order to go forward...

Now... How do I proceed? Do I venture into my BIOS
settings to change info there to refer to the new
CD-ROM drive (Delta)...?

Thank you!

    earlyburd,

You will need DOS drivers for your Delta CD-ROM drive on your boot disk. They will probably be available on boot disks you can get either here or here.

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.

Thanks... I tried bootdisk.com and downloaded a boot that worked -- AFTER I figured out that my hard drive cable connector to the motherboard was loose, which prevented the previous boots from detecting it!!!
