8600 memory temperature
I have a Inspiron 8600 1.5 with 1 Gb ram memory, and when I'm working (not hard working), just surfing by internet, the temperature is high, very high, I can put my hand where the memory is located, but is hot, very hot, , I downloaded the program to measure the tmeperature (arround 50 º C), but I would like to know the normal memory temperature? and if someone have the same problem?, The laptop is new, I have it for two weeks now.

I would like to ask you something more, how about your experience with this notebook, because I have 1 year guarranty but now I can extend it to 3 year with care secure, do you think it is interesting? 300 Euros.

So far so good. I recommend the 3 year warrenty however, as it is quite common for hardware to fail and it will save you money in the long run if you need to replace the screen or motherboard, etc.... it will be free instead of costing a fortune
