8600:no image, only vertical lines on LCD
Well, I turned it on and it boots, everything works, but there is
no image on LCD (WUXGA). Just a bunch of
vertical lines all over the LCD. And longer it works, brighter the lines get.
I have the image on external monitor.
What can it be?
I see there are several parts:
- video-card (works on external monitor, but maybe only the LCD port failed?)
- connector cable
- inverter (whatever it is)
- LCD itself
Since I can see the lines on the LCD itself, I hope it's not LCD itself. I took off the keyboard and shook /moved/ pulled/ pushed the connector cable as hard as I could but no effect - the vertical lines remained on the LCD screen.
Any suggestion, what can I better do?
