Cyberlink Power DVD Blu Ray HDCP problems

Hello,

I have a dell xps l502x with built in blu ray player. I'm trying to watch a blu ray movie on my Asus VE245 (24 inch monitor with hdmi, vga and dvi ports). However when i try to play over hdmi i get the following error, "Information: CyberLink PowerDVD is not able to play the protected content on your digital output device. Ensure your display device supports HDCP. -(Error Code = 0107)."

Yes, the monitor is HDCP ready. I have a Sony notebook and a PS3 which play blu rays perfectly fine on the monitor. I don't think it's the monitor.

What I've tried:
1- I installed Nvidia drivers on "drivers and downloads" page
2- I've updated PowerDVD with their built in update button
3- multiple blu rays

None of the two tries above had done it for me. I would just plug in my monitor via VGA but the l502x does not have a vga port.

Any ideas? BESIDES suggesting I buy anyDVD lol

Thank you!
