Hi,

Having a problem with a D600 laptop.  When docked, it does not detect the NIC card on the docking station, but when I undock and connect the ethernet cable directly to the laptop, I'm able to get a connection.  Though it might be the docking station itself, but  I plugged another laptop onto that docking station and was able to get a connection from there.  It is using Windows 2000.

I tried upgrading the Bios with no luck.  I also switched out the docking station and not able to get a connection with the new docking station.  Tried updating the firmware on the docking station but does not detect it. Created a new hardware profile by copying an older one, but no luck.  In device manager, the only ethernet card that shows up (when docked) is the WLAN. Tried disabling WLAN and re-detecting device. Seems to be some corruption/conflict.

Any ideas?  Any help would be apprectiated.
