Do Laptops Ship on Weekends?

My laptop has finally entered the shipping phase.  I originally had the free 3-5 day shipping, but they upgraded me to next day for free.  Since today is Friday and I have next day shipping, will I recieve it on Saturday, or do they not ship on weekends?  Does this mean I will not get my laptop until Monday?

    My M1330 was shipped on 4/13- a sunday - I recd it Mon 4/14

    Depends on the carrier - most don't deliver on Saturday.

     

    Bear in mind that the notebook ships from Malaysia, and your one day shipping begins once it reaches the US.

    I thought the shipment from Malaysia was included in the boxing time, not the shipping time?

    The "boxing" phase is when they box it ship it to the USA.

     

    Once its "shipped", is when its coming from the Dell depot here in the states

    and could go buy DHL, UPS or FEDex.

     

    Mine was sent by DHL and they missed the overnight and I got it the next day.
