My dell laptop crashed all of a sudden and after restart some faint tick tick tick sound is coming out of my laptop and my laptop is working slow, i thought its a software problem and tried to format the hard drive but its not formatting and after repeated restart of my laptop, i some how managed to format the drives and reinstalled windows XP but after restart still same faint tick tick sound and my lappy is running really slow when i did a diagnostics test, it says DST Short Test: Fail Error Code:1000-0141 Msg: No drive detected. What might cause such error and please share the solution for it
